Add DiscoverSim to Excel's Trust Center

To add DiscoverSim 2 to Excel's trusted locations list, follow the steps below:

1. Open Excel and click File:
   
   
   
   

   Expand
   title Click here if you are unable to find the File menu
   Panel If you are unable to see the File menu because of Excel's Start screen feature, select Blank workbook:

   
   

2. Select Options:
   
   
   
   
3. Select (1) Trust Center > (2) Trust Center Settings...:
   
   
   
   
4. Click (1) Trusted Locations > (2) Add new location...:
   
   
   
   
   
5. When the Microsoft Office Trusted Location window appears, click Browse...:
   
   
   
   

6. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SigmaXL\DiscoverSim V2 and click OK:
   
   
   
   

   Note
   title Important: 64-bit DiscoverSim Users
   For the 64-bit version of DiscoverSim, navigate to C:\Program Files\SigmaXL\DiscoverSim V2 and click OK.

   
   

7. Click the option (1) "Subfolders of this location are also trusted" and ensure the checkmark is present. Click (2) OK:

   Ensuring the option "Subfolders of this location are also trusted" is important to have Excel fully trust DiscoverSim.

   
   

8. In the Trusted Locations window, (1) confirm the directory for DiscoverSim V2 is listed under User Locations and click (2) OK:
   
   
   
   
9. Click OK to close Excel Options.
   
   
   
   
10. Complete close Excel and reopen DiscoverSim.
