Open SigmaXL on a Mac

- Open Finder:
Select (1) Applications. Scroll down and click on the (2) SigmaXL folder, and double-click (3) SigmaXL.xlam:
Tip title Tip: Recommended Switch the applications folder view from "icon view" to "list view" by clicking the button at the top of the window:
Info title NEW You can create a desktop shortcut for SigmaXL by dragging "SigmaXL Desktop Shortcut.xlam alias" to the desktop
A message box will be displayed with an advisory about macros. SigmaXL requires the use of macros in order to run. Click "Enable Macros":
Note This notification will appear three times and Enable Macros must be selected for SigmaXL to function.
Tip title Tip: Bypass macro notifications These notifications can be bypassed by setting Excel to load SigmaXL automatically. Instructions on how to do this can be found by clicking here.
- You will then be presented with an activation prompt. Select "Activate SigmaXL (Enter a serial number.)" as show below and click "Next":
- Enter your serial number and click "Activate":
- SigmaXL will be located on the Excel toolbar:
Click on SigmaXL to open the SigmaXL ribbon:
Note If you cannot see SigmaXL in the Excel ribbon you must open an Excel workbook.
