Error when starting Microsoft Excel: Sorry we couldn't find C:\Program Files\SigmaXL\V8\SigmaXL.xlam. Is is possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?

After upgrading SigmaXL to the latest version, you are presented with the following error message when launching Excel:

This error can occur even after attempting to update the path to SigmaXL in the Add-ins list.

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. Open Excel and go to File > Options > :
   
   Image Added
   
   
2. Click Add-Ins and click Go... beside Manage: Excel Add-Ins:
   
   Image Added
   
   
3. Uncheck Sigmaxl in the Add-Ins list:
   
   Image Added
   
   
4. When presented with the following, click No:
   
   Image Added
   
   
5.  Ensure SigmaXL is stays unchecked and click OK:
   
   Image Added
   
   
6. Close and Reopen Excel.
   Open Excel
   
7. and go to File > Options > Add-Ins and click Go... beside Manage: Excel Add-Ins:Repeat Steps 1 and 2.
   
   
8. Click Sigmaxl in the Add-Ins list. When presented with the following, click Yes:
   
   Image Added
   
   
9. Click OK
10. Close and Reopen Excel.
11. Follow the procedure to add SigmaXL to the Add-Ins list if desired
