After downloading the LogMeIn applet by using the PIN code, complete the following steps: 

Open Finder:

Click Downloads > and double-click LMIRescue.pkg.zip:

This will extract Support-LogMeInRescue. Double-click Support-LogMeInRescue to begin setup:

Click Open:

This will open LogMeIn chat, with a message that the technician would like access to your computer. Click OK:

Click Open Accessibility:

Click the padlock to make changes to Security & Privacy:

Enter your Mac's sign-in credentials and click Unlock:

Click to add a check beside Support-LogMeInRescue:

The technician is now connected for remote support.

Please complete the following steps when attempting to remote with SigmaXL support using LogMeIn:

  1. Open a web browser and (1) go to www.logmein123.com, (2) enter the PIN code provided to you by SigmaXL and (3) click Start Download:

  2. After the download completes, open Finder, (1) select Downloads, and locate and (2) double click LMIRescue.pkg.zip to extract the contents:

  3. Double click Support-LogMeInRescue:

  4. You will be presented with the following. Click Open to continue:

  5. Click the Apple menu (1) > System Settings... (2):

  6. Click Privacy & Security (1) > Accessibility (2):

  7. Click Support-LogMeInRescue to allow it (toggle to the right):

  8. Click the Back < Arrow to return to the Privacy & Security page:

  9. Scroll down and click Screen Recording:

  10. Click Support-LogMeInRescue to allow it (toggle to the right):

  11. When the technician is ready to begin, you will see the following message. Click OK.

  12. The technician should now be connected. If not, they will let you know in the LogMeIn chat window.

  13. If no permissions have ever been granted for Rescue before, you may grant permissions by clicking the Open Screen Recording and Open Accessibility buttons in the pop-up window.
