The bit version of Office is often different than the bit version of Windows. The installation of SigmaXL is dependent on the bit version of Office. Click here to determine which bit version of Office is installed.

Microsoft Office (32 bit)

1. Follow the link below to download the SigmaXL zip archiveexecutable installation file:
   
   
   • 32-bit version of Office: httpshttp://sigmaxlwww.SigmaXL.com/newNew/v8.1V8/SigmaXL_Version_8.1_32-Bit.exe
     
     
2. When the download is completed, launch SigmaXL_Version_8_32-bit.zip
   Navigate to the location where you downloaded the file (typically located in Downloads), right click the zip file and select "Properties":

   In the General tab, click "Unblock" to place a check in the empty checkbox as shown, then click OK:

   Back in the folder where the SigmaXL zip was downloaded, right click the file and click "Extract All..."

   In the Select a Destination and Extract Files window, enter "C:\Program Files (x86)" without quotes and click "Extract". Alternatively, click "Browse..." to manually navigate to select the C:\Program Files (x86) directory:

   Click "Continue" to provide administrator permission:

3. This will begin the installation process. Click Yes on the User Account Control dialogue:

4. The SigmaXL Version 8 installation window will then appear, click Next:

5. You will need to accept the EULA. Read through the agreement and select I accept the terms of the license agreement. Click Install to continue:

6. SigmaXL will then begin to install:

7. Another Windows User Account Control Dialog may appear.

   You may need to select the following icon from your taskbar at the bottom of your screen in order to continue: Image Added

   
   Click Yes to authorize the installation:

8. Once the installation completes you will receive the following confirmation dialog.  Click "Finish" to close the installation wizard:

9. Download the SigmaXL DLL zip archive for 32 bit Office.
   
   
10. Once the download completes, navigate to the location where you downloaded the file (typically located in Downloads), right click the zip file and select "Properties":
    
    
    
    
11. In the General tab, click "Unblock" to place a check in the empty checkbox as shown, then click OK:
    
    
    
    
12. In the folder where the file SigmaXL_32-bit_dlls.zip was downloaded, right click the file and select "Extract All...":
    
    
    Ensure a checkmark is next to the option to "Show extracted files when complete" is by clicking it and press the "Extract" button:

    Select the entire contents of the "SigmaXL_32-bit_dlls" folder, right-click and select "Copy":

    Press Ctrl+a on your keyboard to select all, followed by Ctrl+c to copy the contents of the folder.

    Navigate to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64", click the "Home" menu and select "Paste":

13. The Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders wizard will appear. Click Browse...:

14. Navigate to "C:\Windows\System32" and click Select Folder:

15. Click "Extract":

16. Click "Continue" to provide administrator permission:

    Modern installations of Windows are typically in 64 bit. If your installation of Windows is 32 bit, you may skip to the end of this article. Click here to determine which version of Windows is installed.

    
    

17. Go back to the location where SigmaXL_32-bit_dlls.zip was downloaded (typically Downloads). Right click the file and select "Extract All...":

19. Navigate to "C:\Windows\System32SysWOW64", and click the "Home" menu and select "PasteSelect Folder":

20. Click "Extract":
