Load SigmaXL from an active Excel session


By default, SigmaXL will not automatically load with Excel. This is by design.
An alternative to launching SigmaXL manually would be to configure Excel to load SigmaXL automatically
SigmaXL can easily be set to load with Excel automatically by following the steps included in another article.

SigmaXL can also be launched while in an active Excel session.

To launch SigmaXL from within Excel, follow the steps below:

  1. Click File:



  2. Click (1) Open then (2) Browse:



  3. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SigmaXL\V8\{SigmaXL Version Number} (1) select SigmaXL.xlam (or SigmaXL) and (2) click Open:

  4. Click Enable Macros when prompted:

  5. SigmaXL will appear in the Excel ribbon once loaded:
