Visual Basic C++ redistributable libraries are available in both 32-Bit and 64-Bit versions. The versions version you will require is determined by your bit version of Microsoft Office, not your bit version of Windows. Download and install all 4 the correct redistributable for your bit-version of Excel.

Issues can sometimes occur if MS Excel is not up to date. Confirm that the most recent updates for your version of Office have been installed.
Open Excel and click File:
Click Account:
Click the Update Options button:
Select Update Now:
If updates for Office are available, you will be presented with the following. Please allow some time for the updates to complete:
When the updates are finished installing, the Microsoft update window will disappear and Excel can be opened.
