DiscoverSim Minimum System Requirements
Minimum System Requirements:
Computer and Processor: 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher.
Memory: 1GB of RAM or greater. 8 GB of RAM is recommended for large simulation runs (i.e., 1 million replications).
Hard Disk: 1 GB of available hard-disk space.
Display: 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8, or later operating system.*
Microsoft Excel Version: Excel 2013/2016 and Microsoft 365 with the latest updates installed. SigmaXL is not compatible with cloud based Office 365 or Office Online.
Administrative rights are required to install DiscoverSim.
* DiscoverSim is not available for MacOS.
Important Information for Existing SigmaXL Customers:
DiscoverSim software includes SigmaXL. Do not load your existing copy of SigmaXL alongside DiscoverSim, as this could cause unwanted issues with the software.
