Installing the 32-bit or 64-Bit DiscoverSim

Determining which version of DiscoverSim to Install: 32-bit or 64-bit
There are two versions of DiscoverSim V2: 32-bit and 64-bit.
The 64-bit version of DiscoverSim is required only for users who have a 64-bit version of Office. All other users should use the 32-bit version of DiscoverSim.
Note
It is important to note that the version of Windows is irrelevant, as it is possible to be using a 64-bit version of Windows with a 32-bit version of Office.
Confirm your version of Excel:
- Open Excel and click File:
- Click (1) Account > (2) About Excel. Version information will be listed in the first line of the About Microsoft Excel window:
In the situations above, the user would download the 64-bit version of DiscoverSim. Both versions are available in the links below:

Common Issues:
If DiscoverSim is installed for the wrong bit version of Office, you may see the following error messages:
These errors can easily be resolved by uninstalling DiscoverSim and re-installing the appropriate version.
