Verify Excel Version and Build Number

Confirming that your installation of Excel is up to date is important when installing add-ins such as SigmaXL, or for general troubleshooting.

To check the installed bit-version and build numbers, follow the instructions below:

1. Click File:
   
   
   

   Open

   

    

2. Click (1) Account > (2) About Excel. The installed version and build number will be located in the highlighted area as shown:
   
   
   

   Open
