Installation & Activation Troubleshooter for Trainers


This is a quick guide for common issues users may face when first using SigmaXL:

Installation: 

  • If the installation appears to complete, but SigmaXL is not installed, this is usually caused by the user not having permission to install software. They will need to contact their system administrator.

Activation: 

  • If students will not be receiving a license and instead will be using the trial version, activation is not required. It is important to note that trials cannot be extended and will last for 30 days.

    Ensure the student does not begin the trial prematurely and risk a trial expiration in the middle of the course.
