Windows System and Excel Decimal Settings

If Excel Was installed in a different language than the default Windows language, you may receive the following message:

To resolve this, complete the steps below:

  1. Click File at the top left of Excel:
  2. Click Options:
  3. Click Advanced (1) and adjust Excel’s decimal system to match Windows by unchecking Use system separators (2):
  4. Click OK at the bottom-right and close/reopen Excel:
