Minimum System Requirements:
- Computer and Processor: 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher.
- Memory: 1GB of RAM or greater. 8 GB of RAM is recommended for large simulation runs (i.e., 1 million replications).
- Hard Disk: 1 GB of available hard-disk space.
- Display: 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor.
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 or later operating system.*
- Microsoft Excel Version: Excel 2013 or later with the latest service packs or Microsoft 365.
- Browser: A working browser is required for SigmaXL Help.
- Connectivity: An internet connection is required for SigmaXL Help and internet activation (offline activation is also available).
Administrative rights are required to install DiscoverSim.
* DiscoverSim is not available for MacOS.
Important Information for Existing SigmaXL Customers:
DiscoverSim software includes SigmaXL. Do not load your existing copy of SigmaXL alongside DiscoverSim, as this could cause unwanted issues with the software.
