After downloading the LogMeIn applet by using the PIN code, complete the following steps: 

MacOS: Big Sur

If using Big Sur, follow the steps included here.

  1. Open Finder:



  2. Click Downloads > and double-click LMIRescue.pkg.zip:



  3. This will extract Support-LogMeInRescue. Double-click Support-LogMeInRescue to begin setup:



  4. Click Open:



  5. This will open LogMeIn chat, with a message that the technician would like access to your computer. Click OK:



  6. Click Open Accessibility:



  7. Click the padlock to make changes to Security & Privacy:



  8. Enter your Mac's sign-in credentials and click Unlock:



  9. Click to add a check beside Support-LogMeInRescue:



  10. The technician is now connected for remote support.
