Install SigmaXL on a PC
This article provides the steps for installation of SigmaXL for PC. For installation on Mac computers, please click the link below:
Download and Install SigmaXL for PC
Administrative Rights and an installed version of Excel are required to complete SigmaXL's installation.
1. Download the appropriate installation file using the link below:
https://www.sigmaxl.com/New/V10/SigmaXL_Version_10_Setup.msi
2. Once the download completes, click the setup file to begin the installation process:
3. When the installer launches, it will first locate and uninstall the previous installation of SigmaXL:
4. You may receive the Windows User Account Control dialog, if so click Yes:
5. The SigmaXL installation window will then appear. Click Next:
6. You will need to accept the EULA. Read through the agreement and select I accept the terms of the license agreement. Click Install to continue:
7. SigmaXL will then begin to install:
8. Another Windows User Account Control Dialog will appear.

Click Yes to authorize the installation:
9. Once the installation completes you will receive the following confirmation dialog. Click Finish to close the installation wizard.
10. You may now launch SigmaXL by double clicking the desktop icon.

SigmaXL Activation or Free Trial Period
The first time SigmaXL is opened, you will be prompted to activate or begin the trial:

11. The SigmaXL ribbon will be located at the top of Excel:
Configure Excel to automatically load SigmaXL
SigmaXL does not automatically load with Excel by default. Excel can be configured to automatically open SigmaXL by following the instructions found in the Load SigmaXL automatically with Excel article.
