How do I configure Excel to load DiscoverSim automatically?

Excel can be set to load DiscoverSim automatically using Excel's Add-ins options. The process is slightly different depending on which version of Excel is installed.

  1. Open Excel and click Open Other Workbooks:



  2. Select Options:



  3. In the Excel Options window, select Add-ins in the left-hand menu. In the right hand pane, click Go... located beside Manage: Excel Add-ins at the bottom:



  4. The Add-ins window will open. Select Browse:



  5. Navigate to DiscoverSim's installation directory:

    For 32 bit versions of Excel
    Navigate to C:\Program Files(x86)\SigmaXL\DiscoverSim V2\
    For 64 bit versions of Excel 
    Navigate to     C:\Program Files\SigmaXL\DiscoverSim V2\

  6. Select the file DiscoverSim.xlam and press OK:



  7. Click OK:
