Silent Install - SigmaXL Installation Flags

What installation flags are included in the SigmaXL installer?

SigmaXL's installation package is generated through InstallShield and as such includes all of the standard flags.

The standard installation package comes in the .msi format. However, this may cause issues for some deployment packages.

Should you wish to run a silent install, we recommend downloading the specific version of SigmaXL you require below. These installation packages are executables (.exe) and should run without issue on all deployment packages:

SigmaXL 32-bit

SigmaXL 64-Bit

The version of SigmaXL must match your installation of Excel.

It is possible to have a 64-Bit version of Windows with a 32-Bit Version of Excel, in these cases 32-Bit SigmaXL is required.

An Example of How to Run a Silent Install of the 32-Bit Package:

SigmaXL_Version_10_32-Bit.exe /s /v/qn

Note: the space between /v and /qn, will result in a failed install. The text must be entered exactly as shown.
