Set the SigmaXL folder as a trusted location in Excel

The SigmaXL installation folder is not automatically added to Excel trusted location listing. However, in some configurations, this folder must be added to the Excel trusted locations listing to use SigmaXL.

To add the SigmaXL directory to the trusted locations list in Excel:

  1. Click on the File menu:



  2. Select Options:



  3. Select Trust Center on the left-hand pane:



  4. Click Trust Center Settings…:



  5. Select Trusted Locations in the left pane:



  6. Click Add new location…:



  7. Click Browse…:



  8. Browse to the SigmaXL installation location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SigmaXL and click OK:



    Note for 64 bit Excel users

    Browse to the C:\Program Files\SigmaXL directory and click OK.

  9. *Important* - Ensure Subfolders of this location are also trusted is selected:



  10. Click OK:



  11. The path to SigmaXL should now be displayed in the trusted location list (1). Ensure Sub Folders are set to Allowed (2). Click OK  to close Excel Options:



  12. Completely close Excel and launch SigmaXL.
