Launch SigmaXL from an active Excel session (Mac)

Load SigmaXL from an active Excel session


By default, SigmaXL will not automatically load with Excel. This is by design.

Excel can be set to load SigmaXL automatically by following the steps included in an alternate article.

SigmaXL can also be launched while in an active Excel session as demonstrated in the steps below:

  1. Click (1) "File" > (2) "Open":



  2. Select (1) "Applications" > (2) "SigmaXL" > (3) "SigmaXL.xlam". Click (4) "Open":



  3. Select "Enable Macros":

    Note for Mac users

    The Enable/Disable Macros prompt shown above will occur three times. Enable Macros must selected for all three occurrences.

  4. SigmaXL will appear in the Excel ribbon once loaded:
