Update Microsoft Excel 2016 for Mac

Follow these instructions to update Excel 2016 for Mac:

  1. Open Excel and click (1) Help > (2) Check for Updates:


  2. When presented with the Microsoft AutoUpdate window, click Check for Updates:


  3. Allow the AutoUpdate a few moments while it checks for updates (Do not click Cancel):



  4. If updates are available, review the list of updates and ensure they are selected in the Install column. Click Install:



  5. Once updates are complete, repeat steps 1 through 4 to confirm if additional updates are available.
