SigmaXL compatibility with international decimal systems
SigmaXL is compatible with international decimal systems. However, in some circumstances, the decimal type may revert back to the English point-type decimal in SigmaXL dialog boxes.
The symptoms of this issue are as follows:
Your results appear incomplete.
You are presented with varying error messages.
SigmaXL/Excel crashes after running affected tools.
Note
This does not affect systems which use the North American English decimal system.
If the symptoms above occur, verify the following:
- Check the dialog box for any incorrect decimals in the Confidence Intervals, Confidence Levels, Thresholds, and/or Upper/Lower Sigma Levels fields:
- If a point is used instead of a comma, attempt to type in the proper value and click OK >>:
- If the tool you are attempting to run has an Options button, ensure the options are also verified:
If changing the decimal does not resolve the issue, contact SigmaXL support.
