Excel and digitally signed add-ins
Excel is unable to verify digitally signed applications
Previous versions of Microsoft Excel may generate a warning that indicates SigmaXL is not digitally signed.
The current version of SigmaXL contains a valid, up to date Digicert signature.
The issue can cause inaccurate warning messages when attempting to launch SigmaXL or, depending on Excel security settings, may even prevent the SigmaXL ribbon from loading altogether.
If SigmaXL does not load, attempt the following:
- Update your version of Excel
- Set the SigmaXL program folder as a trusted location in Excel
- Change Excel's default macro settings to Disable all macros with notification
If the options above are not available, you must contact your internal IT department to do this on your behalf.
