How to set Excel's default chart type
The default chart type in Excel is set as a 2-D Clustered Column style chart.
Requirement for SigmaXL
SigmaXL requires the 2-D Clustered Column style chart set as the default chart type in order to function properly.
If the default chart type has been changed:
Open a worksheet which contains Data. (1) Click on Excel's Insert tab. (2) Find and click the See All Charts icon at the bottom right of the Charts section as shown:

Alternatively, press the F11 key on your keyboard and (1) click Design > (2) Change Chart Type:
- (1) Click the All Charts tab and (2) select Column in the left hand pane:
- (1) Right-click Clustered Column and (2) select Set as Default Chart. (3) Click OK:
