Default Excel file associations

Unable to open SigmaXL by double clicking the SigmaXL icon

If double clicking SigmaXL does not open Excel, do the following:

Click (1) Start > (2) Settings :
Select Apps:
Click Default apps:
Scroll down and select Choose default apps by file type:
From the list on the left, scroll all the way down to .xlam, click Choose a default, and select Excel:

If Excel is not listed, please ensure it is installed and working.
