Error when starting Microsoft Excel after setting Excel to open SigmaXL automatically

Error when starting Microsoft Excel: Sorry we couldn't find C:\Program Files\SigmaXL\V8\SigmaXL.xlam. Is is possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?
After upgrading SigmaXL to the latest version, you are presented with the following error message when launching Excel:
This error can even occur after attempting to update the path to SigmaXL in the Add-ins list.
To resolve this issue, do the following:
- Open Excel and go to File > Options:
- Click Add-Ins and Go... beside Manage: Excel Add-Ins:
- Uncheck Sigmaxl in the Add-Ins list:
- When presented with the following, click No:
- Ensure SigmaXL stays unchecked and click OK:
- Close and Reopen Excel.
- Repeat Steps 1 and 2.
- Click SigmaXL in the Add-Ins list. When presented with the following, this time click Yes:
- Note that SigmaXL has been removed from the list of available Add-Ins. Click OK:
- Close and Reopen Excel.
- Click here and follow the procedure to have Excel load the newer version of SigmaXL automatically if desired.
